Three 4-Day “Slow Down, Breathe, and Return to Yourself” Retreats in Denmark

Three times a year, in spring, summer, and autumn, we take a gentle break from the rush of everyday life and step into a space created for inner quiet and reflection. Through yoga, meditation, simple practices, and the natural rhythm of each season, you are guided back to balance and presence.

These retreats are not about performance or achievement. They are small pauses in the year where you can listen more deeply, reconnect with your inner well-being, and understand what each season brings to your body, mind, and emotions.
Spring helps you rise and awaken; summer invites expansion and strength; autumn teaches softness and letting go.

These retreats are open to everyone: beginners, seekers who wishes to develop a more balanced, sustainable way of living. In a warm and supportive community, you explore these themes in a simple, heartfelt way, through movement, breath, conversation, and moments of stillness. It is a time to rest, to see yourself with new clarity, and to gently reconnect with what truly matters. 

You can join one retreat or all three. Each season offers something unique, and choosing the full cycle can give you a gentle rhythm of breaks through the year, a way to step out of stress for a moment and reconnect with yourself as life moves forward.

Through structured tools and guided practices, you gain insights you can apply immediately, supporting both your personal wellbeing and your professional competence.

This is where we’ll have our retreat — a serene and beautiful space in the heart of Jutland. Den Japanske Have is a unique Japanese-style garden with tranquil paths, peaceful ponds, and quiet corners for reflection. With cozy accommodations and shared spaces designed for stillness and simplicity, it offers the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and go deeper into your inner journey.

Spring Retreat – Awakening & Renewal

As the earth begins to soften and sprout, spring brings a natural upward movement—a time of renewal, creativity, and new directions.
This retreat mirrors nature’s energy and guides participants in studying how spring influences body, mind, and emotional patterns.

Educational Themes & Learning Focus

  • Understanding the spring doshas (Kapha → Vata shift) and how this affects mood, motivation, digestion, and energy
  • Learning uplifting yogic practices that enhance circulation, clarity, and inner growth
  • Study of spring psychology: lethargy, stagnation, low motivation, emotional heaviness
  • Tools to awaken and energize: pranayama, mindful movement, energizing meditations
  • Ayurvedic principles for spring: cleansing foods, spices, lifestyle habits
  • Reflective self-study on personal growth, new intentions, and emerging inner pathways

    • Rooms are typically shared. If you prefer a single room, please mention it during registration—we’ll do our best to accommodate, though availability cannot be guaranteed.

    • The retreat is alcohol & smoke free
    • This will be a small and focused group, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

    Summer Retreat – Expansion & Inner Strength

    Summer brings warmth, light, and expansion. It is governed by Pitta dosha, which influences confidence, ambition, insights—but also irritability, burnout, and emotional overheating if unbalanced.
    This retreat focuses on learning how to work with the inner fire in a grounded, stable, and meaningful way.

    • Understanding Pitta psychology: intensity, passion, perfectionism, frustration
    • Study of emotional heat and how it manifests physically and mentally
    • Ayurvedic methods to cool the system and stabilize energy in summer
    • Learning heart-centered practices for compassion, patience, and emotional cooling
    •  Mind–body techniques for managing stress, ambition, and decision fatigue

    Autumn Retreat – Letting Go — Rest and Reconnect

    Autumn is governed by Vata dosha, the energy of movement, change, and subtlety. When imbalanced, Vata can lead to restlessness, anxiety, fatigue, and emotional disconnection.
    This retreat provides a structured educational method to understand and balance Vata on physical, psychological, and energetic levels.

    Educational Themes & Learning Focus

    • Study of Vata psychology: worry, overthinking, instability, scattered energy
    • Techniques for grounding and settling the nervous system
    • Understanding transitions: grief, endings, emotional release
    • Learning slow, stabilizing practices: meditation, deep relaxation, breath awareness
    • Ayurvedic nourishment: warm foods, daily routines
    • Developing personal tools for letting go and cultivating inner safety
